Geographically, Steinach is located at the foot of the Brotjacklriegel, one of the highest mountains in the region. The landscape here is characterised by dense forests, idyllic rivers and a multitude of hiking and cycling trails. Particularly attractive are the numerous vantage points along these paths, which offer a breathtaking view of the surrounding panorama.

Steinach also has a lot to offer culturally: The local history museum provides insights into the history of the region and Egg Castle offers an impressive backdrop for concerts and events. Also worth seeing is the pilgrimage church "Maria Hilf", whose baroque architecture attracts many pilgrims every year.

Steinach also has some culinary delights to offer: Be sure to try the famous "Bavarian Forest Schnapps" or enjoy regional specialities such as roast pork with dumplings or fresh trout from the nearby Regen River.

In summer, numerous lakes invite you to swim and relax - the Haidweiher and Blaibacher See are particularly recommended. In winter, on the other hand, the nearby Arber skiing area attracts visitors with perfectly groomed slopes for beginners to professionals.

If it rains, it is worth visiting the Weinfurtner glass village, where you can experience the art of glassmaking up close. The "Aqacur" leisure pool also offers relaxation and recreation for the whole family.

Overall, Steinach is definitely worth a trip - whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, culture seeker or foodie. This travel guide will help you get the most out of your stay here!
