Sommerach offers numerous tourist attractions such as the parish church of St. Margaretha or the historic town hall from the 16th century. A special highlight are also the many wineries in the region, where you can go wine tasting or simply enjoy the view of the idyllic landscapes.

Cultural highlights can also be discovered: In summer, the annual art and culture festival "Kultur.Sommer" takes place here with concerts, readings and theatre performances.

Culinary specialities are also provided in Sommerach - above all, of course, thanks to the region's excellent viticulture as well as regional specialities such as Franconian Schäufele (pork shoulder) or gingerbread hearts.

The best outdoor activities can vary depending on the season: In spring and summer, a walk through the blossoming vineyards or a bike ride along the Main River is worthwhile. In autumn, the experience of a wine harvest directly at the vintner's is particularly enticing.

Even in rainy weather, there are plenty of leisure activities in Sommerach - for example, a visit to the local history museum or a tasting of regional brandies in a schnapps distillery.

However, it is probably still most beautiful on a balmy evening in the beer garden or directly on the banks of the Main, where you can enjoy the sunset and savour life to the fullest.

Sommerach is therefore definitely worth a trip - whether as a day trip or for a longer stay. This Travel Guide gives you all the important information for your visit to Sommerach in the district of Kitzingen, Germany!
