Discover the region

The region lies directly on the banks of the Havel River and offers a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling or water sports. Particularly recommended are the summer months, when the weather is warm enough to jump into the river or enjoy a picnic on the shore.

For the culturally interested, there are many historical sites such as Ribbeck Castle or Lehnin Monastery. Here you can learn more about the history of the region and admire impressive architecture.

Another highlight are the culinary delights of the region - especially fresh fish from the Havel River as well as regional specialities such as asparagus dishes during the season.

Visitors should also not miss taking part in the many events that take place here. A highlight is the annual Havel Festival with music, art and cultural programmes along the river.

Even in rainy weather there is plenty to do! One recommendation, for example, would be a visit to the Baruth-Glashütte glass museum or a relaxing day in one of the local saunas.

The most beautiful spot in this area is undoubtedly on the water itself: Take a seat on a boat trip through the Havel Canal and be enchanted by breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Seeblick, Havelland is definitely worth a trip and a perfect destination for anyone who loves nature, culture and good food. This travel guide will help you make the most of your stay in this enchanting region!

Eine tolle Runde um den See. Sehr gut ausgeschildert.

Also keine vielbefahrenen Straßen.
