Discover the region

Geographically, Schönaich lies on the edge of the Schönbuch Nature Park and is surrounded by picturesque forests. The town is close to Stuttgart and Tübingen and is easy to reach by public transport or car.

Schönaich has a lot to offer its visitors: From historical sights such as the St. Vitus Church to the modern shopping centre "Mercaden", there is a lot to discover here. A highlight is also the local history museum, which presents the history of the region in a vivid way.

Cultural highlights are also available: The annual street festival attracts numerous visitors and offers a diverse programme of music, dance and culinary delights. In summer, there are also regular outdoor concerts - a special open-air experience!

Those who like to be active will get their money's worth in Schönaich: hikes through the Schönbuch Nature Park or bike tours along the Ammer River are just a few examples of outdoor activities. Golfers can also improve their handicap - the local golf course is one of the most beautiful of its kind.

For rainy days, a visit to the indoor swimming pool "Schoenaicher Panoramabad" is particularly suitable. Here you can swim, take a sauna or simply unwind.

Culinary Schönaich also has a lot to offer: From traditional dishes like "Maultaschen" to international specialities, there is something for every taste. The regional wines, which are grown in the surrounding vineyards, are also a special highlight.

Overall, Schönaich is definitely worth a visit and offers its visitors a lot of variety. Whether cultural highlights, outdoor activities or culinary delights - everyone gets their money's worth here!
