Saal offers a variety of tourist attractions such as the historic church from the 13th century or Ludwigsburg Castle, which is now used as a hotel. A visit to the Jasmund National Park is also highly recommended - here you can experience unspoilt nature on hikes through beech forests.

Cultural highlights are provided by various museums such as the Rostock Museum of Cultural History or also the Ozeaneum in Stralsund with its impressive aquariums. In summer, numerous events take place, including music festivals and traditional folk festivals.

The region also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine: Try local specialities such as fish rolls or fresh bread made from locally grown grain. You can also enjoy hearty dishes in cosy restaurants and taste regional wines.

Outdoor activities are particularly rewarding in spring and summer: whether cycling along the coast, sailing on the Baltic Sea or hiking through the idyllic forests - there are many ways to stay active during your stay in Saal. Water sports such as surfing or kite surfing are also very popular here.

If it rains, you can retreat to one of the many museums and discover the cultural side of Vorpommern-Rügen. Another tip is to visit the HanseDom Stralsund adventure pool with its numerous attractions for young and old.

Where is the most beautiful? That depends on personal taste, of course! But walks along the picturesque stretches of coastline are particularly recommended, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea.

Saal is definitely worth a visit - whether as a short trip or a longer stay. With this travel guide, you now have all the important information you need to plan your trip to Saal in the best possible way!
