Discover the region

Geographically, Rutesheim is located in the heart of the Schönbuch Nature Park, surrounded by picturesque hills and forests. The town is particularly well known for its numerous hiking and cycling trails through the beautiful landscape.

But Rutesheim also has a lot to offer culturally. An absolute highlight is the annual cultural festival "RutArt", where local artists present their works and concerts and theatre performances take place. The local history museum with its exhibition on the history of the region is also worth a visit.

Culinary Rutesheim also offers some highlights: Be sure to try the regional wine or visit one of the cosy cafés for homemade cake.

If it rains, there are various ways to pass the time in Rutesheim - for example, you can visit the indoor swimming pool or relax in one of the libraries.

It is particularly beautiful in Rutesheim during spring, when everything is in bloom and the temperatures are pleasantly mild. In summer, the open-air swimming pool on the outskirts of the town and various open-air events such as concerts and film screenings under the open sky in various places in the town are particularly attractive.

In total, Rutesheim offers a lot of variety as a destination - whether hiking, cycling, art & culture or simply relaxing in nature, there is something for everyone here. An absolute insider tip and a must for all travellers who like to get off the beaten track.

Meist asphaltierte Wege. Aber auch kurze Strecken mit Feldwegen (Graswege).
