Discover the region

Rosenthal is located in the heart of Germany and is known for its idyllic landscape characterised by forests, rivers and mountains. The Waldeck-Frankenberg region is characterised by its rolling hills, which invite you to go hiking or cycling. A highlight of the area is the Edersee dam and Waldeck Castle on the mountain of the same name.

In Rosenthal itself there are many cultural highlights such as the Museum of Porcelain Design or the historic market square with its half-timbered houses. The town also has much to offer in the way of culinary delights: Try local specialities such as grilled bratwurst or apple wine straight from the farm.

The best outdoor activities can vary depending on the season: In summer, Lake Edersee beckons for swimming or boating, while in winter you can enjoy skiing in Willingen. But there are also plenty of options when the weather is bad: For example, visit the Arobella adventure pool in Bad Arolsen or spend a relaxing day in the wellness area of the Hotel Bärenmühle.

Whether you are a nature lover or a culture enthusiast - Rosenthal is definitely worth a trip! Discover this charming town and its surroundings for yourself and let yourself be enchanted by its beauty.
