Discover the region

Rimbach is located at the foot of the Odenwald in the Bergstrasse region of the German state of Hesse. The town is known for its picturesque landscapes with rolling hills, lush forests and crystal clear rivers. The climate here is mild and pleasant all year round.

One of the main tourist highlights of Rimbach is Auerbach Castle. It was built in the 13th century and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. Frankenstein Castle from the 12th century is also a popular destination for tourists.

Culturally, Rimbach also has a lot to offer: In summer, festivals are held regularly, such as the Wine & Vintners Festival or the International Music Festival "Heidelberger Frühling". Another attraction are the numerous museums around the Odenwald - among them is a museum on the history of beer.

Culinary delights are not neglected in Rimbach: here you can enjoy traditional dishes such as Handkäs' mit Musik (hand cheese with music) or Grüne Soße (green sauce) - both specialities from the Frankfurt-Rhine-Main region.

Outdoor lovers will not be disappointed either: Hiking through the Odenwald is definitely one of them! The Odenwald offers many hiking trails that lead through picturesque landscapes. Cycling is also very popular here - especially in spring and summer.

When it rains, there is also plenty to do in Rimbach: Visit the Miramar leisure pool, for example, or take a guided tour through the underground passages of Auerbach Castle.

In summary, Rimbach is a destination that is definitely worth a visit. The town has a lot to offer - from cultural highlights to culinary delights and outdoor activities for everyone. Come by and experience for yourself where Rimbach is at its best!
