Welcome to Reichling, a charming village in the heart of the Landsberg am Lech district. With its picturesque location between rolling hills and green forests, Reichling offers a relaxed atmosphere and many opportunities for outdoor activities.

Geographical location and special features: Reichling is located about 20 kilometres southwest of Augsburg and is only a stone's throw away from the famous Ammersee. The village itself is characterised by its historic buildings, including the baroque parish church of St. Leonhard or Reichling Castle with its beautiful park.

Tourist attractions: One of the main attractions of Reichling is undoubtedly the Benediktbeuern Monastery, which is only a few kilometres away. Here you can not only admire the impressive architecture, but also take part in guided tours or attend concerts. Another highlight are the numerous hiking and cycling trails around the village and the nearby Ammergau Alps Nature Park.

Cultural highlights and events: In Reichlings there are always cultural events such as theatre performances or concerts in the church of St. Leonhard. In summer, a traditional folk festival takes place every year, where you can try local specialities.

Culinary specialities: The region around Reichlings is known for its hearty dishes such as pork knuckle with dumplings or Kaiserschmarrn. In many inns and restaurants these specialities are freshly prepared and served.

Outdoor activities: Whether hiking, cycling or water sports - Reichling has something for everyone. The best season for outdoor activities is spring to autumn. A special highlight are the numerous lakes in the area such as the Ammersee or Staffelsee, where you can swim, sail or fish.

Rain days in Reichling: Even in bad weather, there is plenty to do in Reichlings: Visit the local history museum in the Pfarrhof, for example, or take a trip to Landsberg am Lech with its historic buildings and museums.

Where to go in Reichling: A walk through Reichlings castle park with its old trees and idyllic pond is particularly recommended. Here you can relax and enjoy nature.

Conclusion: Reichling is definitely worth a visit! The charming village not only offers many opportunities for outdoor activities but also cultural highlights as well as culinary delights. Whether alone, as a couple or family - everyone gets their money's worth here!

Also rund 400 Höhenmeter mehr.
