Geographically, Pudagla lies on the edge of the Achterwasser, a lagoon on the Baltic Sea. The surrounding area is characterised by rolling hills and forests and thus offers ideal conditions for hiking or cycling.

One of the most famous sights in Pudagla is Stolpe Castle, an impressive medieval castle dating from the 14th century. Here you can not only admire the historic architecture, but also enjoy culinary delights - the restaurant in the castle is famous for its regional cuisine.

Another highlight is the numerous cultural events such as concerts or theatre performances in the Pudagla summer theatre. The annual fishing festival also attracts many visitors.

If it rains, there is still plenty to do: How about a visit to the Peenemünde Museumshof? There you can learn all about the history of rocket building during the Second World War as well as about the natural and cultural landscape around Usedom.

Those who want to be active in sports will also find the best conditions here: Whether water sports such as surfing or sailing on the Achterwasser or golfing on a nearby course - here every sports lover will get their money's worth.

It is especially beautiful in Pudagla in spring when nature awakens and everything is green and in bloom. But autumn also has its charm with colourful leaves and mild temperatures.

Overall, Pudagla is definitely worth a trip. If you are looking for peace and quiet, but still don't want to miss out on cultural highlights or sporting activities, you are guaranteed to be happy here. A travel guide for Usedom should definitely include this charming village!

Danke Heiko! :-)
