Pretzfeld

Geographically, Pretzfeld lies on the edge of the Franconian Switzerland-Veldenstein Forest Nature Park and thus offers a breathtaking landscape with picturesque hills, forests and rivers. The region is known for its numerous hiking and cycling trails as well as climbing routes. These activities are particularly popular in summer.

For cultural highlights, we recommend a visit to the historic Egloffstein Castle or the 16th century Unteraufseß Castle. The local history museum in Pretzfeld itself also provides an insight into the history of this region.

Where is it most beautiful in Pretzfeld? That's hard to say, because every place has its own charm. But a walk through the historic town centre with its half-timbered houses and narrow streets is definitely recommended.
