Discover the region

One of the most famous sights here is the 18th century St. Hubertus Chapel, which is located on a small hill and offers a breathtaking view over the valley. The nearby Malberg Castle with its medieval ruins is also worth a visit.

For those interested in culture, there are numerous events such as the annual Christmas market or the music festival "Preischeider Sommer". Preischeid also has a lot to offer in the way of culinary delights: Be sure to try the regional specialities such as dishes with game or fresh trout from the rivers in the area.

Outdoor activities are particularly popular here - hiking, cycling or fishing are just a few ways to explore the picturesque landscape around Preischeid. The best season for this is certainly spring to autumn; but even in winter you can enjoy a special atmosphere on a snowy hike through the snow-covered forests.

And what to do on rainy days? Why not take a trip to neighbouring Bitburg to the "Bitburger Erlebniswelt" visitor centre or visit one of the many museums in Trier - just a short drive away!

All in all, Preischeid is definitely worth a trip and a perfect destination for anyone who loves nature, culture and good food. Let our Travel Guide inspire you and discover the best of this place for yourself!
