Perasdorf is located on the edge of the Bavarian Forest and is surrounded by rolling hills and forests. The region is known for its picturesque landscapes with numerous hiking and cycling trails through unspoiled nature. The nearby Danube valley also offers a unique river landscape to explore.

Sights relevant to tourism include Perasdorf Castle from the 17th century and the Church of St. George with its magnificent frescoes and paintings from the Baroque period. Those interested in culture should also visit the local history museum, which gives an insight into the lives of local people throughout history.

For gourmets, Perasdorf has some culinary specialities to offer: Be sure to try the regional specialities such as Weißwurst (white sausage) or Schweinshaxe (knuckle of pork) with sauerkraut and dumplings, as well as local beers - a must for every Bavarian fan!

If it rains, you can look forward to various indoor activities: How about a guided tour of a local brewery, for example? Or visit one of the many museums in the area, such as the Gäuboden Museum or the visitor centre at the Bavarian Forest National Park.

In summer, you can experience nature around Perasdorf in a very special way: Take a canoe trip on the Danube or hike through the nearby national park. In winter, on the other hand, the Geißkopf ski area beckons with numerous slopes for beginners and advanced skiers.

Perasdorf is worth a visit at any time of year - but it is especially beautiful here in autumn, when the leaves change colour and the landscape offers a breathtaking play of colours. Don't miss this charming region in the district of Straubing-Bogen!

Sehr schöne Aussicht an verschiedenen Stellen.
