Oberteuringen lies at the foot of the Gehrenberg and is surrounded by rolling hills. It is an ideal starting point for excursions around Lake Constance. The town has a rich history as a trading centre for the region and used to be known for its textile and leather industries.

Tourist attractions include Maurach Castle, which now serves as the town hall, and Birnau Monastery - a baroque masterpiece located directly on the shores of Lake Constance. For culture enthusiasts, there are numerous events such as concerts or theatre performances on the castle square or in the community centre.

Culinary Oberteuringen has much to offer: From traditional dishes to modern cuisine, you will find everything your heart desires. Be sure to try the regional specialities such as Maultaschen or Spätzle mit Soß'.

The surrounding area also invites you to go hiking or cycling - tours through the vineyards along the Gehrenberg are particularly beautiful in spring or summer. In winter, you can go cross-country skiing on the trails around Oberteuringen.

If it rains, there are also some indoor activities in Oberteuringen, such as the local history museum or the library. Or you can visit one of the nearby thermal baths.

The most beautiful thing about Oberteuringen, however, is its nature and tranquillity - a perfect destination for anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle. Especially recommended are walks through the Gehrenwald in autumn - when the leaves turn colourful and form a picturesque backdrop.

Oberteuringen is definitely worth a trip - whether you are a culture or nature lover. We hope this guide will help you with your planning and look forward to welcoming you here soon!

Warum eigentlich immer eBike-Tour?
