Nürtingen is known for its historic buildings, including the 16th century Old Town Hall and the 14th century St. Laurentius Town Church. Lichtenstein Castle, a neo-Gothic jewel perched on a rock, is also worth a visit.

Cultural highlights include the K3 Culture & Congress Centre and the Museum of the City of Nürtingen with exhibitions on the history and art of the region.

For culinary connoisseurs, Nürtingen offers various restaurants with regional cuisine such as Maultaschen or Spätzle. The numerous wineries in the surrounding vineyards are also a special highlight.

Outdoor activities can be enjoyed at any time of year: In spring and summer, the idyllic countryside beckons for hiking or cycling along the Neckar River or through the Schönbuch Nature Park; in winter, skiing or tobogganing can be enjoyed on the nearby slopes.

Even in rainy weather, there are plenty of options: The indoor swimming pool "Mineraltherme Böblingen" invites you to relax; alternatively, you can visit museums or go shopping in Stuttgart - only a short train ride away from Nürtingen!

The market square in Nürtingen is particularly beautiful, where you can enjoy the view of the Old Town Hall. Another highlight is the view from the Jusi Tower, a historic watchtower with a panoramic view of the surrounding area.

Nürtingen is definitely worth a visit and offers something for everyone! Discover this charming town in southwest Germany with our travel guide and experience unforgettable moments in a picturesque setting.
