    Hoher Pfadanteil. Selbst der Rückweg vom Turm über die flachere Strecke ist sehr abwechslungsreich trotz ein paar Stellen Forstweg. Das Ameisenwegele am Ende entschädigt dafür.

    Der Aufstieg zu Beginn der Tour erfordert einige Kondition. Ich (73) war froh über meine Stöcke. Dies gilt auch für den Abstieg vom Kuhornkopf, besonders wenn der Boden feucht ist. Gute Schuhe sind obligatorisch. Ansonsten sind die Wege gut begehbar. Die Tour ist als leicht eingestuft. Ich würde sie eine Stufe höher setzen. Die Beschilderung ist sehr gut und die Rastmöglichkeiten im Hahn und Henne Motiv zeigten immer an, dass es der richtige Weg ist. Eine Einkehr im Vogt von Mühlstein war mein Ziel und Motivation. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht.

    Wir sind 4 von 5 Etappen vom 29.05 bis zum 01.06.2025 gelaufen. Etappe 1: Haslach iK - Hohenhäuser, ca. 17 km Bis zur Grabkapelle von Hansjakob lieblicher Blick ins Kinzigtal, danach überwiegend Waldwege, ab und an Ausblicke ins Tale und auf malerische Höfe. Einkehr im Biergarten der Munde Biereck empfehlenswert, Übernachtung im Höhengasthof Zum Kreuz. Etappe 2: Hohenhäuser - Zell aH, ca. 25 km Bis Steinach überwiegend durch dichten Wirtschaftswald, ab und an oberhalb von Wiesen. Einkehr in Steinach gut möglich, der steile Aufstieg parallel zu der stark befahrenen Straße an der Kinzig ist mit Abstand der schwächste Abschnitt der Runde. Etappe 3: Zell aH - Brandenkopf, ca. 19 km Der Biergarten vom Vogt auf Mühlstein war schon um 12 Uhr überlaufen, der Abschnitt entlang der Bahnstrecke durch Oberharmersbach zieht sich etwas, erst Recht aber der Anstieg auf den Brandenkopf auf breiten Forstwegen scheint kein Ende zu nehmen. Etappe 4: Brandenkopf - Wolfach, ca. 12 km Insgesamt schönster Abschnitt der Tour parallel zum Westweg! Einkehr in der Hohenlocher Hütte ist unbedingt zu empfehlen! Der Abstieg vom Brandenkopf erfolgt überwiegend auf Pfaden und schmalen Wegen. Ab Wolfach ist stündlich eine Rückfahrt nach Haslach mit der Bahn möglich. Wir müssten die Tour hier bereits wegen eines Wetterumschwungs abbrechen. Ein Besuch im Hansjakob-Museum bietet sich an! Ca. 1 - 1,5 Std reichen bereits für den Rundgang im Erdgeschoss aus.
