Discover the region

Nörtershausen is known for its picturesque vineyards and excellent viticulture. A visit to the local wineries is one of the tourist attractions of this region. Here you can taste the best wines and learn more about the art of winemaking.

Cultural highlights are also plentiful: The historic 12th century collegiate church and the local history museum offer an interesting insight into the history of the region.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Nörtershausen offers a wide range of activities: Hiking, cycling or Nordic walking through the beautiful nature around the village are just a few possibilities. In winter, you can even go skiing on the nearby Erbeskopf.

If it rains, there is still plenty to do! The indoor swimming pool invites you to go for a swim or visit one of the many cosy cafés and restaurants in the area where you can enjoy regional specialities - such as Saumagen (a type of Palatinate sausage) or Dibbelabbes (a potato dish).

The best time for outdoor activities is from spring to autumn - when everything turns green and flowers unfold - but this area also has its charm in winter with snowy landscapes and cosy winter nights.

Nörtershausen is definitely worth a trip! With this Travel Guide you have all the important information to plan your trip. Discover the beauty of the region, taste the delicious wine and enjoy life in the heart of Mayen-Koblenz.

Einer der schönsten Traumpfade überhaupt. Tolle, abwechslungsreiche Wege.
