Tourist attractions include Callenberg Castle, the Veste Coburg and the Rose Garden. Callenberg Castle was once the residence of Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's husband. Today it houses a museum as well as an impressive collection of historic doll's houses.

The Veste Coburg, on the other hand, is a medieval castle complex with a breathtaking view of the city and the surrounding area. It was extended in the 16th century and served as a residence for various princely families.

The Rose Garden, in turn, offers a beautiful place to relax and stroll among fragrant rose bushes as well as other types of flowers and plants from all over the world.

Cultural highlights include the Coburg State Theatre and the Coburg Natural History Museum. Here visitors can enjoy both classical operas and more modern theatre productions or learn more about the local flora and fauna.

For culinary delights, there are numerous restaurants, cafés as well as beer gardens where you can enjoy regional specialities such as bratwurst or Franconian beer.

Outdoors, there are many activities such as hiking, cycling and climbing. A hike on the Rennsteig trail or an excursion to the nearby Thuringian Forest National Park is particularly recommended.

Even in rainy weather, there are plenty of options for entertainment, such as the Neustadt Town Museum with its interesting exhibitions on the town's history.

Overall, Neustadt bei Coburg is definitely worth a trip for anyone who is passionate about history, nature and culture. A travel guide to discover the beauty of this region!

) an . Sehr schöner Biergarten. Selbstbedienung.
