Geographically, Neukirch is located on the edge of the Allgäu and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains as well as the nearby Lake Constance. The region is known for its picturesque landscapes, which are perfect for hiking or cycling.

Sights relevant to tourism include the impressive 18th century parish church of St. Martin and Achberg Castle with its magnificent gardens. Culture enthusiasts should not miss a visit to the Lindau town museum, where they can learn more about the history of the region.

For culinary delights, there are many options here: Try local specialities such as Kässpätzle or Maultaschen in one of the cosy restaurants or enjoy a cold beer in a traditional brewery.

If it rains, there is still plenty to do - visit one of the many museums or go shopping in the centre of Friedrichshafen.

The best outdoor activities are hiking and cycling during the spring and summer months and skiing in winter on the slopes around Oberstaufen. In autumn, a walk through the colourful forests around Neukirch is also worthwhile.

Where is it most beautiful in Neukirch? That depends on your interests - for a breathtaking view of the Alps, visit the lookout point at St Martin's Church, while a walk through the Riedholz nature reserve offers beautiful scenery.

Overall, Neukirch is a destination suitable for active holidaymakers as well as culture vultures and foodies. This travel guide will help you make the most of your time here and create unforgettable memories.
