Geographical location: Neu-Anspach is located about 30 kilometres north of Frankfurt am Main. The town lies in the middle of the Taunus Mountains at an altitude of about 300 metres above sea level. Here one encounters a picturesque landscape with rolling hills, dense forests and clear lakes.

    Eine sehr schöne Tour. Auf der es einiges zu entdecken gibt. Ich habe nur aus der Tour eine Rundtour gemacht. Also wieder bis zur Hohe Mark gefahren. Da mein Fahrzeug da stand. Waren am Ende knapp 39 Km. Bin in Bad Homburg noch an das Kurbad, und den Kurpark entlang. Anschließend noch durch den Schlosspark. Es lohnt sich.

    Sehr schöne Tour, hat einige sehr schöne Fern-Aussichten und einige schöne Wegpassagen durch den Wald, ist sehr gut beschildert und bis auf wenige Bäume hat der Windbruch der letzten Wochen die Wege nicht unpassierbar gemacht. Erstaunlich war, dass am Anfang der Tour gefühlt alle 100m eine Bank zu finden war, ab ca. 9km dagegen weder eine Bank noch eine Sitzgruppe - kein Problem, wenn man ausgerüstet ist und sich einfach mit einem Wanderstuhl und Tarp behelfen kann. Karger ausgestattete Wanderer stehen aber ggf. vor einem Problem. Konditionell ansprechend, aber ich schätze den Schwierigkeitsgrad auf "mittel" ein - da es keinerlei schwierige Passagen gibt und die Steigungen nicht wirklich steil sind. Mit einer längeren Pause in 3:20 (Bewegungszeit) gelaufen. Erschreckend anzusehen ist der Schaden im Wald - aber es wird überall neu angepflanzt! 4 Punkte, weil es einige Highlights gab, aber eben auch 70% auf Arbeitswegen, einige (wenige) KM entlang oder zumindest nahe der Strasse mit einigem Verkehr an einem Freitag. Hat Spaß gemacht und gerne wieder!

    Eine wunderbare Tour - wie beschrieben hat sie so vieles: Schöne Laubwälder, Ausblicke (ja, z.T. auch wegen der Abholzungen...Wald 2023), Ruhe, aber auch Quirligkeit am Sandplacken. Wir haben 4,5 Std. gebraucht. Wer unterwegs einen Kaffee und Kuchen mag, bitte unbedingt zum Cafe Waldschmitt unten in Oberreifenberg bei der Kirche gehen. Tour sehr empfehlungswert !

    Schöne Tour durch den Wald mit der U-Bahn-Endstation als Startpunkt! Aber Vorsicht, an zwei Stellen ist die Route, so wie sie verzeichnet ist, etwas verunglückt: 1.) Im Bereich "Sandplacken" ist die Route, wo wie sie im GPX-Trail angegeben ist, ein Trampelpfad und praktisch nicht nutzbar. Am besten die Karte checken und entweder dem "Limes-Radweg" folgen oder ein kurzes Stück über die Straße fahren. 2.) Bei der Route, wie sie hier angegeben ist, ist die Querung der Bundesstraße 456 problematisch. Besser schon auf Höhe der Saalburg queren.

    Wir haben uns am Wochenende auf gemacht und diese Strecke als Tagestour "erleben" dürfen. Aber diese Strecke ist alles andere als "leicht". Ich würde sie vielleicht auch sogar härter als "mittel" einstufen, da es konstant Bergauf geht und teils sehr schwere Abschnitte dabei sind. Aber trotz der Schwierigkeit ist es eine schöne Strecke, welche mit einer schönen Aussicht und viel spass auf der "Abfahrt" belohnt. Fazit: Schöne ausgiebige Strecke, welche jedoch eine gewisse Fitness und Training erfordert.
