Geographically, Mühlenberge is located about 30 kilometres west of Berlin and is known for its breathtaking landscape. The region is criss-crossed by the Havel River and is characterised by a variety of lakes and forests. You will also find many historic windmills here - a characteristic feature of the region.

Tourist attractions abound here: visit the Westhavelland Nature Park with its rich flora and fauna or explore Ribbeck Castle, which served as the inspiration for Theodor Fontane's poem "Herr von Ribbeck auf Ribbeck im Havelland". The Lehnin Monastery is also worth a visit - here you can admire the beautiful architecture as well as learn more about the history of the place.

Culturally, Mühlenberge also has a lot to offer: The annual cultural festival at the lake attracts many visitors every year and presents music, dance and theatre performances. If it rains, we recommend a visit to the Glindow Museum Village or the Brieselang Brickworks Museum Barn.

This region also has a lot to offer in the way of culinary delights: Be sure to try the famous asparagus from Beelitz or enjoy fresh fish straight from the grill on a boat trip on the water.

For outdoor activities, Mühlenberge is an ideal place all year round. In summer you can swim, fish or water ski, while autumn and winter are perfect for hiking through the forests. Visit the Westhavelland Nature Park in spring and watch the migratory birds on their journey north.

And where is it most beautiful? We recommend a walk along the banks of the Havel at sunset - here you will experience a breathtaking backdrop with views of historic windmills and idyllic lakes.

Mühlenberge in Havelland is definitely worth a trip! This Travel Guide provides you with all the information you need to make the most of your time here.
