Moselkern is picturesquely situated on the Moselle and surrounded by impressive mountains and forests. The town is known for its breathtaking scenery, which can be explored particularly well on foot or by bike. Hikes on the dream paths along the river are particularly recommended.

Tourist attractions include Eltz Castle, a medieval fortress dating back to the 12th century, as well as the collegiate church of St. Castor with its Baroque architecture.

Cultural highlights can be found in Moselkern, especially during the numerous events such as the wine festival in September or the traditional carnival in February.

Culinary specialities abound: be sure to try the famous Riesling wine from the region as well as local specialities such as spit roast and potato soup.

If it rains, you can take a trip to nearby Koblenz or visit the Monte Mare leisure pool - an adventure pool for young and old!

The most beautiful places in Moselkern are undoubtedly located on the river banks - here you have a beautiful view of the idyllic landscape and can relax with a cup of coffee.

Overall, Moselkern is definitely worth a trip, whether you are a nature lover or a culture lover. We hope this guide will help you get the most out of your stay here and take home unforgettable memories!

Saubere Toilette.

Start Wanderparkplatz Gemeindehaus Wierchem.
