Discover the region

Geographically, Monzelfeld is located in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region. The town is surrounded by vineyards and picturesque hills, which provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing holiday. The area is known for its excellent wines and there are numerous wineries where visitors can sample local varieties.

One of the main attractions of Monzelfeld is its historical sights such as Veldenz Castle or the 12th century St Laurentius Church. A walk through the old town with its half-timbered houses is also well worthwhile.

Cultural highlights can also be found in this region: Machern Monastery, for example, regularly hosts concerts and other cultural events throughout the year. Another highlight is the medieval festival "Spectaculum", where you can immerse yourself in times gone by.

For culinary connoisseurs, Monzelfeld also has a lot to offer: Why not try typical German dishes such as potato pancakes or bratwurst with sauerkraut - best accompanied by a glass of local wine!

Outdoor activities are also very popular here: hiking or cycling along the Moselle, for example, offers spectacular views of the vineyards and the river valley. Canoeing or a boat trip on the Moselle are also great options for exploring the surrounding area.

And what if it rains? No problem - in Monzelfeld there are also indoor activities such as visits to museums or a visit to the thermal baths "Moseltherme".

Where is the most beautiful? That depends entirely on your personal preferences! The view from Veldenz Castle offers a breathtaking view over the valley, while a walk through the historic town centre with its picturesque half-timbered houses invites you to dream.

Overall, Monzelfeld is definitely worth a trip - be it for its scenic beauty, its cultural highlights or culinary delights. This travel guide will help you get the most out of your stay here!

Herrliche, waldreiche und sehr ruhige Wanderung. Überwiegend schöne schmale Wege ... Natur pur!

Hier kommen wir sicher wieder her.
