    Sehr schöne Mountainbike Rundtour streckenweise auf schmalen Wanderwegen. Einkehrmöglichkeit im Biergarten Eisbrunn (ca. auf halber Strecke).Schleife Mönchsdeggingen-Harburg-Mönchsdeggingen ist sehr abwechslungsreich.

    Wir sind den Weg mit dem Rad gefahren, ich persönlich finde, mit dem Rad ist der Weg gut, allerdings sind einige Stellen nur mit dem Cross oder Mountainbike zu empfehlen bzw. sollte man schon ein E-Bike haben. Wir sind den Weg mit Kindern gefahren, die jetzt auch wieder diesen Weg fahren wollen. Wandern würde ich das nicht, das zieht sich dann schon, aber mit dem Rad ist der Weg sehr schön. Gerade die Aussicht über Heroldingen rüber zur Harburg und die Hexenküche haben meinen Kindern gefallen. Ich fand die Stimmung in den Dörfern sehr schön, die mich immer wieder ins Ries zieht. Unsere Anfahrt ist ca. 1,5 bis 2h, lohnt sich aber immer wieder. Kurz, ich finde den Rundweg für das Fahrrad viel geeigneter.

    Wunderschöne Streckenführung, die immer wieder auch durch kleinere Orte führt. Ohne Navi wäre es manchmal schwierig geworden bzw. wir wären dem (weniger schönen) offiziellen Weg gefolgt, z.B. entlang von Bundesstraßen. Wir haben uns 10 Tage Zeit genommen, was mit Zelt und Gepäck auch gut machbar war. Herrliche Ausblicke, unbedingt zu empfehlen!

    Elke hat mit viel Liebe zum Detail und geologischer Fachkenntnis eine sehr abwechslungsreiche Tour durch den Meteoritenkrater entworfen.Wir ritten diese Tour an 2 heißen,sonnigen Tagen.Es gibt genügend schattige,idyllische Waldwege und eine Kneippanlage lädt zum abkühlen und Pferde tränken ein.Die Etappen sind auch für Einsteiger gut zu schaffen.Für unsere Pferde und uns wurde an den Wanderreitstationen sehr gut gesorgt.Da wir als Schnittpunkt Leiheim gewählt hatten,unser Auto also auch zur Verfügung stand ,konnten wir noch das mittelalterliche Nördlingen mit seiner begehbaren Stadtmauer,dem Wachturm Daniel,von dem aus man den besten Rundumblick über den Krater hat,besuchen.Wir kommen wieder.Es gibt noch viel zu entdecken.

    Der Hauptwanderweg 1 des schwäbischen Albvereins (auch Albsteig oder Nordrandweg genannt) ist ein traumhaft schöner Trail. Ich bin den HW 1 von Donauwörth bis Tuttlingen an einem Stück im Frühjahr 2015 gegangen. Die Aussichten auf den Traufpfaden sind grandios und atemberaubend. Aber Vorsicht - die Anstiege sind teilweise sehr steil und langatmig. Wer Unterkünfte vorgebucht hat, sollte auch sicher sein, diese jeden Tag zu erreichen, sonst droht wegen Erschöpfung der vorzeitige Tour-Abbruch. Ich war überwiegend mit dem Zelt unterwegs, habe aber auch vereinzelt in Naturfreundehäusern und Hotels übernachtet. Die Wasserversorgung ist kein Problem, da i.d.R. immer ein Dorf in der Nähe ist. Quellen und kleinere Gewässer sind ab und an vorhanden. An Sehenswürdigkeiten besteht kein Mangel. Ein wirklich traumhaft schönes Erlebnis, dieser Trail. Absolut zu empfehlen.
