Discover the region

Geographically, the town is located on the edge of the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park and is surrounded by a picturesque landscape. The old town of Mölln enchants with its narrow streets, half-timbered houses and historic buildings such as the town hall and the Nikolaikirche church. Another highlight are the seven towers that characterise the townscape.

The Eulenspiegel Museum and the Till Eulenspiegel Monument are particularly relevant to tourism - both commemorate the legendary prankster from the Middle Ages. The Heinrich and Thomas Mann Centre also attracts many visitors: Here you can learn all about the famous Mann brothers.

Cultural highlights abound in Mölln: in summer, numerous concerts take place on the market square; here you can sit comfortably and enjoy music with a glass of wine. The annual kite festival attracts young and old to Mölln; colourful kites then decorate the sky above the town.

Culinary delights are writ large in Mölln's restaurants: Regional specialities such as Labskaus or Finkenwerder Scholle are on the menus. Those who prefer sweet things should definitely try Mölln's famous marzipan chocolates.

Outdoor activities are also available in the Mölln area: in summer, you can go hiking or cycling in the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park; those who want to cool off will find refreshing refreshment at one of the numerous lakes. In winter, you can go cross-country skiing or snowshoeing - there are specially prepared trails for this.

If the weather doesn't cooperate, we recommend a visit to the town museum or the planetarium. Here you can learn all about the history of Mölln as well as our universe.

In summary, Mölln is a destination that is definitely worth a trip! The town offers cultural highlights as well as culinary delights and there is also plenty to experience for outdoor fans. Whether in summer or winter - everyone will be happy in Mölln!
