Möhnsen lies on the eastern edge of the Lauenburg Lakes Nature Park and is surrounded by numerous bodies of water. The landscape is characterised by rolling hills, meadows and fields - perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking or cycling. Water sports enthusiasts also get their money's worth here: whether sailing, canoeing or fishing - the nearby Ratzeburg Lake is a true paradise for friends of the wet element.

But Möhnsen also has a lot to offer in terms of culture: Grabau Castle with its romantic park invites you to linger and the Rittergut Rothenmoor Museum provides insights into the history of the region. In summer, concerts are held regularly in the castle park; if you prefer something more rustic, you should definitely visit the traditional farmers' market.
