Mayschoß is known for its wine production and the excellent wines from the region can be tasted at a wine tasting. Visit one of the many wineries or take a guided tour through the vineyards.

The historic buildings in Mayschoß are also worth a visit. The St. Matthias Church dates back to the 12th century and Mayschoß Castle was built in the 19th century.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Mayschoß offers many opportunities such as hiking, cycling or canoeing on the Ahr during the summer months. In winter, there are also skiing opportunities in the nearby Eifel mountains.

When it rains, it is worth visiting the Villa Sorgenfrei culture house with changing art exhibitions as well as concerts and readings.

Culinary wise, the region has a lot to offer: Try local specialities such as spit-roast from the grill or game dishes from the forests around the Ahr valley.

It is especially beautiful in autumn during the grape harvest season, when the leaves turn colourful and festivals take place everywhere, such as the traditional grape harvest festival at the end of September.

Make your stay unforgettable with a trip to Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, a charming town with many shopping opportunities and historic buildings.

Mayschoß is definitely worth a trip. Use this travel guide for your next trip planning!

Grandios!
