Malk Göhren is located on the Mönchgut peninsula in the south-eastern part of Rügen. The landscape is characterised by rolling hills, forests and fields. The coastline offers breathtaking views of the Greifswalder Bodden and the open sea.
Tourist attractions:
The Baabe pier is a must-see with views of the picturesque bay of Lake Sellin. The Granitz Hunting Lodge is another attraction - it was built in the 19th century and now houses a museum about its history.

The annual Störtebeker Festival attracts thousands of spectators to experience the legend of the famous pirate. There are also numerous music festivals such as the Jazzfest Rügen or the classical music festival RuegenKlang.

Be sure to try the fresh fish from the region or enjoy a traditional stew called "Rügener Hochzeitssuppe". It goes perfectly with a glass of local wine or beer.

In summer, you can relax on the beach, swim and do water sports. In autumn, hiking through the forests is especially beautiful, while in winter ice skating on the frozen lake is a highlight.
