Mainhausen

Geographical location: Mainhausen is located on the southern edge of the Rhine-Main region and is only 20 kilometres from Frankfurt. The town has a picturesque landscape with rolling hills and forests along the Main River.

Special features: The municipality consists of five districts: Zellhausen, Mainflingen, Bischofsheim a.d.R., Waldheim and Klein-Welzheim. Each of these places has its own history and culture to offer.

Tourist attractions: There are many historic buildings to visit in Mainhausen, such as Philippseich Castle or the St. Kilian Church in Zellhausen. The Alte Fasanerie wildlife park also offers a great experience for young and old.
