    Obwohl ich für die Navigation häufig mein Handy gebraucht habe, bekommt die Tour 5 Sterne, weil sie einfach toll ist. Wald, Wiesen, 2 Schluchten, das magische Dreieck und der „Hohle Stein“. Meine reine Gehzeit waren 4 Stunden 45 Minuten. Teile der Strecke sind wirklich anspruchsvoll und steil. Ich empfehle unbedingt Stöcke. Vor allem die Tobelschlucht am Ende hat‘s in sich. Mit den Stöcken konnte ich auf dem schmalen und steilen Pfad gut abbremsen. Bei Nässe gefährlich. Bis zur Abzweigung am Friedhof von Finsterrot gibt es ab und zu eine Bank. Danach bis zum Parkplatz der Tobelschlucht / Grillstelle keine mehr. Ich werde die Tour sicher im Frühling wieder machen.

    Was für eine schöne Tour! Wer ein bisschen Karten lesen kann und noch zusätzlich GPS verwendet, wird den Weg gut finden. Einzig der Naturpfad, der kurz hinter dem Dreieckstein in Richtung Schloßmühle abzweigt, ist inzwischen zugewachsen und nicht mehr begehbar. Schade! Am besten geht man den mit einem blauen Punkt gekennzeichneten Pfad weiter und kehrt über den Wiedhofweg zur Route zurück. Empfehlenswerte Einkehr auf der schön gelegenen Seeterrasse am Finsterroter See.

    Schön die Passagen im Wald und an der Rot entlang. Weniger die wenn auch kurzen Passagen entlang der Landstrasse (hätte man umgehen können wenn mans vorher gewusst hätte). Die Passagen durch Orte muss man mögen (Mainhardt), für mich kein Problem. Leider immer wieder der übliche Biker-Lärm. Und keine Einkehrmöglichkeit auf der gesamten Tour. Ingesamt lohnende Wanderung; knappe 4 Punkte.

    Ich habe die Wanderung an einem Montag gemacht wo ich nur ein paar Radfahrern begegnet bin. Bis auf die kurze Strecke durch Mainhardt ist man wirklich voll in der Natur und teils Einsamkeit unterwegs. Vielleicht sieht es am Wochenende anders aus. In Mainhardt und am Ende vom Wiedhof bis hinter Böhringsweiler läuft man auf Asphalt. Vor allem das Ende ist nicht so schön. Aber die Mehrzahl der Wege ist natürlich. Außerdem habe ich mich 3x verlaufen, weil die Ausschilderung sehr schlecht ist. An 2 Stellen sieht man das Schild erst nach dem Abbiegen: am Ende von Mainhardt im Ortsteil Baad geht es rechts in einen dunklen Waldweg. Nach Hochstraßen läuft man mit toller Aussicht auch einem Feldweg Richtung Wald in einer leichten Linkskurve. Kurz vor dem Wald geht ein Wiesenweg rechts ab. Am ersten Baum hängt dann das Schild, was man vom Feldweg aus nur sieht, wenn man danach Ausschau hält. Es lohnt, ab und zu die Karte zu kontrollieren. Reine Gehzeit 3,5 Stunden. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Wanderung mit viel Natur.
