Lisberg

Lisberg is located in the heart of the Steigerwald Nature Park. The town is situated on a hill overlooking the valley of the Regnitz River and is surrounded by forests. This picturesque landscape makes it a perfect place for nature lovers.

Most relevant for tourism are the historic buildings in the old town, such as Lisberg Castle or the 18th century St. Vitus Church. Another highlight is the annual Christmas market on Schlossplatz, where you can buy local handicrafts.

Culture is writ large here: In the summer months there are numerous concerts - including jazz evenings - and during the year there are various theatre performances and exhibitions by local artists.

Culinary Lisberg has a lot to offer: Be sure to try the regional wine "Frankenwein" or sample typical Franconian dishes such as bratwurst or sauerkraut in cosy inns

Outdoor activities are also very popular; hiking through the Steigerwald Nature Park is one of them, as is cycling along the Regnitz Valley communities. In winter you can even go skiing!

Even when the weather is bad, there is plenty to do in Lisberg: Visit the Museum of Art and Culture or take a tour of the historic buildings.
