    Auch im Winter hat diese Strecke seine Reize. Besonders gefällt mir, dass wenig Asphalt Strecke dabei ist und eine abwechslungsreiche Landschaft zu sehen ist.

    Ein schöner, bisweilen anstrengender Weg quasi vor meiner Haustür. Ich habe mir die Etappen etwas anders gelegt und bin auch noch bis Attendorn gegangen. Ein bisschen schwierig gestaltete sich die Unterkunftssuche, was sich aber letztlich mit kleinen Umwegen (über Blankenrode) und mit ÖPNV (Giershagen-Obermarsberg sowie Heringhausen-Bestwig) relativ gut machen ließ. An einer Stelle war allerdings der Weg im Grunde nicht mehr vorhanden: Der Pfad parallel zur K1 auf der ersten Etappe. Hier ist es vielleicht möglich bei längerer Trockenheit im Frühjahr noch durch zu kommen aber wenn Brennnessel und Brombeeren erstmal wachsen, braucht man Machete und reißfeste Kleidung. Außerdem haben umgefallene Bäume den Pfad an zwei Stellen komplett weggerissen. Alternative ist, auf der K1 zu bleiben, ist aber auch nicht ungefährlich....

    Da ich in Blankenrode übernachtet habe, bin ich erst in Oesdorf wieder auf den Jakobsweg gestoßen. Ab dort war er problemlos zu gehen. Von Niedermarsberg nach Obermarsberg empfehle ich aber die Straße zu nehmen, da der Pfad durch den Wald durch umgefallene Bäume ziemlich versperrt ist.

    Schöne Mittelstrecken Wanderung. Landschaftlich Anwendungsreich meist gute Wege. Eine absolut Hervorragende Ausschilderung. Vorbei an der Alpackazucht und dem Modell Flugplatz. Etwas Abzug für den Weg Zwischen Km 9/ 10 dort ist das Gras Hüfthoch und der Weg kaum erkennbar.

    Wir haben jetzt fünf oder sechs Touren in und um Willebadessen gemacht und diese hier ist definitiv unser "Liebling" von allen. Er vereint einige tolle Streckenabschnitte aus verschiedenen, von uns vorher begangenen, Wegen und hat uns in Summe am meisten begeistert. Wald, wenig Forstwege, Hochplateau, sehr viel Pfadanteil!     Der Rundweg war ganz nett aber mir persönlich etwas zu langweilig. Unter Gipfeltour verstehe ich natürlich etwas anderes, auch habe ich den Weg entlang keine Einkehrmöglichkeit entdeckt, was mir aber auch nicht wichtig war. Aussichtsreich naja, hätte mehr sein können. Fazit: Der Weg ist gut zu gehen, auch mit Kindern, Kinderwagen aber eher nicht. Das Stück bergauf war bei mir jetzt etwas matschig...

    Bin den Höhenweg (Eggeweg) seit vielen Jahren wieder gegangen. Wie überall in der Region sind die Nadelwälder dem Klimawandel zum Opfer gefallen. dafür gibt es nun Ausblicke in die Region, die es früher so nicht gab. Den letzten Kilometer ca. von Alter Ziegelei bis zur Straße kann man nicht mehr gehen, hatten viel Wasser, teils einen kleinen See, auf der alten Trasse und mussten den Hügel hochkrakseln. Ansonsten kurzweilig und für Kinder geeignet.

    Ich bin die Strecke, in 3 Etappen gewandert - ab Externsteine bis Marsberg. 1. Etappe von Externsteine bis Schwaney 2. von Schwaney bis Blankenrode 3. Von Blankenrode nach Marsberg. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Bis au die Steigung den Velmerstot hoch und den Abstieg von der Nadel ins Schwarzbachtal würde ich den gesamten Weg als mittel einstufen. Die Aussichten auf den Höhen sind unschlagbar.

    Eine richtig, richtig tolle Route. Und das direkt um die Ecke! Sehr abwechslungsreich, gefühlt sehr schön abgelegen mitten in der Natur und wirklich wenig frequentiert (die Wege waren gut zugewuchert und die Pfade z.T nur zu erahnen) Es hatte in Teilen einen echten Abenteuer Charakter.
