Lensahn

Geographically, the town is located between the cities of Lübeck and Kiel on the federal highway 202. The surrounding area is characterised by rolling hills, lush green meadows and numerous lakes - perfect for nature lovers! Hikes along Lake Eutin or through the picturesque valley of the Schwentine are particularly recommended.

But Lensahn also has a lot to offer in terms of culture: Schlossgut Groß Schlamin, for example, is one of the oldest estates in Germany and has an impressive Renaissance building and a romantic landscape garden. Another highlight is the Alte Feuerwache (Old Fire Station) museum, which deals with the topic of firefighting - history is brought to life in an exciting way here!

For culinary connoisseurs, there is also plenty to discover in Lensahn: be sure to try regional specialities such as Labskaus (a dish made of potatoes, beef and onions) or fresh fish rolls straight from the harbour.

In summer, numerous lakes invite you to go swimming, while in winter you can take leisurely walks through snow-covered forests. Even in rainy weather, you don't have to miss out on outdoor activities: The indoor playground "Kinderland" offers fun for the whole family.

It is especially beautiful in Lensahn in spring, when nature awakens to new life and everything is green and blossoming. But the destination also has its charm in autumn: the colourful leaves of the trees give the landscape an enchanting flair.
