Kuppenheim lies at the foot of the Black Forest and is surrounded by picturesque hills. The town's location makes it an ideal base for outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling. Visit the nearby Black Forest National Park or take a boat trip on the Rhine.

    An einem wunderschönen Dienstag im September haben wir diese genussvolle Radtour von Freudenstadt gemacht. Gestartet sind wir in Kuppenheim, wo man sein Auto sehr bequem und kostenfrei parken kann. Zugegeben - die Bahn (in diesem Fall die S8) hatte 15 Minuten Verspätung und war an diesem schönen Werktag gegen 10 Uhr gut mit Gleichgesinnten bestückt und demzufolge platzmässig schon eine kleine Herausforderung, aber nach etwa 90 Minuten Fahrtzeit war das am Ziel fast vergessen. Die Tour ist wirklich sehr schön. Nachdem man Freudenstadt mit seinem tollen Marktplatz verlassen hat, geht es erst einmal in Serpentinen recht steil bergab ins Tal. Bergab geht es recht viel. Wir haben besonders die Abschnitte genossen, die kilometerweit sanft bei einem glatten Weg abwärts gegangen sind. Genuss pur. Rastmöglichkeiten gibt es wirklich sehr viele. Vermisst haben wir den ein oder anderen Biergarten oder die Möglichkeit zum Kaffeetrinken direkt am Weg. Und ein Tipp noch: Man ist zwar im Schwarzwald aber die Strecke ist doch recht oft nicht auf der Schattenseite oder im Wald - deshalb würden wir es uns gut überlegen, diese Tour bei mehr als 30 Grad zu machen.

    Sehr schöner Radweg mit viel Abwechslung und Sehenswürdigkeiten, dazu hübsche Rastplätze. Ein großes Plus ist die parallel verlaufende Bahnstrecke so dass man jederzeit auch mal kürzere Abschnitte wählen kann. Wir sind von Baiersbronn bis Rastatt gefahren. Ein wunderschöner Tag!

    Sehr schöne Tour und sehr gut von Herrn Kräuter beschrieben, nur in Rastatt wegen mehrerer Umleitungen und Kirmes verfahren, wegen rücksichtsloser Fahrerei von Autofahrern in Rastatt teilweise gefährlich. Wir sind froh, dass wir die Enkelkinder nicht dabei hatten, wie erst geplant. Alles andere ausserhalb Rastatt sehr schön!!

    Bis zum Merkur super Wanderung. Ab da, dann bis zum Abzweig Träufelbachsee purer Schotterpiste ca. 5,5 Km abwärts. Tour zieht in die Länge und ist Konditionel herausfordernd. Burg Alt-Eberstein ist derzeit geschlossen! NF-Hütte Weise Stein hat kurze Öffnungszeiten!

    Insgesamt 4.5 von 5 Sternen (man kann leider keine halben geben). Bis auf Etappe 3 abwechslungsreiche Etappen und durchaus anspruchsvoll. Etappe 4 und 5 waren für mich das Highlight. Habe die Tour in mehrere Etappen aufgeteilt, was aufgrund der guten Verkehrsanbindung problemlos machbar ist.

    Sehr schöne Tour. Ab Merkur und auch vorher sehr viele Forstwege mit viel grobem Schotter. Zum Teil Schotter in Faust- oder gar Pflastersteingrôße. Die schmalen Wanderpfade sehr stark von Radfahrern ausgefahren, dann ausgeschwemmt und erodiert. Warum kann man die naturnahen Wanderpfade nicht den Wanderern vorbehalten? Landschaftlich, Flora und Fauna wunderschön.

    Tolle Fahrradtour, welche man zu jeder Zeit abbrechen und mit dem nächsten Zug zurück fahren kann. Immer gut, wenn man nicht weiß, wie lange die Kids durchhalten. Wir starten in Baiersbronn, dann umgehen wir das kurze steile Stück Straße in Freudenstadt und wir müssen nicht durch den Stadtverkehr. Und man kann den Abschluss im Schwimmbad Baiersbronn machen. Immer abwärts, deshalb kaum anstrengend. Immer wieder gerne 😊.
