Geographical location and special features: Kunreuth is picturesquely situated between the rivers Regnitz and Wiesent on the edge of the Franconian Jura Mountains. The area is known for its breathtaking landscape with rolling hills, dense forests and clear lakes.

Tourist attractions: An absolute must is a visit to Rabenstein Castle - a medieval castle complex situated on a rock above the valley of the Trubach. The Neideck ruins or Thurn Castle are also worth a visit.

Cultural highlights and events: The highlight of the year is undoubtedly the traditional citizens' festival in August with music acts as well as culinary delicacies from the region. The Christmas market in Kunreuth also attracts many visitors every year.

Culinary specialities: Be sure to try the regional specialities such as "Schäufele" (grilled pork shoulder meat) or "Bamberger Hörnla" (a type of potato salad). In many restaurants you can also enjoy delicious beers from local breweries.

Outdoor activities: The surroundings of Kunreuth are perfect for hiking, cycling or climbing. In summer you can also go swimming or take canoe trips on the river Wiesent.

Seasons: The best time to enjoy nature around Kunreuth is in spring and summer. In autumn, the colours of the leaves are particularly beautiful and winter also has its own special charm.

Rain weather activities: If it rains, you can visit the Atlantis leisure pool in Herzogenaurach or take a trip to Nuremberg - only 30 minutes away by car.

Where is it most beautiful? A walk through the forest to the nearby "Gößweinsteiner Wasserfall" is particularly idyllic. From here you have a breathtaking view of the Trubach valley.

Kunreuth in the district of Forchheim offers something for everyone - from cultural highlights to outdoor activities in a beautiful landscape. A visit is definitely worthwhile!

Alles in allem wunderschöne Runde.
