Krümmel

Krümmel is idyllically nestled between the heights of the Westerwald. The picturesque landscapes with their green slopes invite you to go hiking. The village is known for its breathtaking views of the Siegtal valley and its numerous hiking trails, which wind through an impressive natural scenery.

Touristically relevant are above all the historical buildings such as Molsberg Castle or also the old railway station of Krümmel. Here you can gain an insight into times gone by and be inspired by the architecture.

Cultural highlights include the many concerts in the Kulturhaus Krümmel or the annual wine festival on the first weekend in October.

Those who like good food will also find what they are looking for here: In traditional inns you can try typical dishes from the region - especially hearty meat dishes such as "Himmel un Ääd" (blood and liver sausage with mashed potatoes).

For active people, Krümmel offers many opportunities to be active: In summer, a canoe trip on the river Sieg or a horseback ride through the forest are particularly suitable. In winter, on the other hand, the region beckons with skiing and snowboarding in the surrounding ski areas.

And even if it rains, there is plenty to do: The "Monte Mare" leisure pool offers bathing fun for young and old, or you can visit the local history museum in Krümmel's old railway station.

The most beautiful time here is probably in spring, when everything blossoms and greens. But autumn also has its charm with all its bright colours. However, a visit is worthwhile at any time of year - Krümmel is definitely worth a trip!
