Krottelbach

Geographically, Krottelbach lies at the foot of the Palatinate Forest, one of the largest contiguous forest areas in Germany. With its numerous hiking and cycling trails, it is a paradise for outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking or Nordic walking.

But the region also has a lot to offer culturally. Visit the historic Lichtenberg Castle with its museum or discover the history of the region in the local history museum in Altenglan.

Another highlight is the annual castle festival at Lichtenberg Castle in summer and the traditional wine festival in Wolfstein in autumn. Here you can enjoy regional specialities and be enchanted by the locals.
