The region is characterised by its geological features, including several extinct volcanoes. Hikers can explore the beautiful nature on the many well-marked trails and enjoy spectacular views.

For history lovers, there are many cultural highlights to discover. The ruins of Himmerod Monastery are an impressive example of medieval architecture and history. The "Eifeler Glockengießerei" museum also offers an insight into a traditional craft.

Culinary Kradenbach also has a lot to offer - be sure to try the regional specialities such as potato soup with smoked ham or game dishes from local hunting.

    Schöner Rundwanderweg. Gut ausgeschildert. Die Wanderung verläuft über Wege. Mal Wald, Wiese und Feldwege. Highlights gibt es auf der Runde keine besonderen. Ausgenommen die alte Eiche. Dafür aber viel Natur und tolle Weitblicke über die Vulkaneifel.

    schöne Tour und leicht wir sind die Tour entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn gelaufen.Die Wegführung ist sehr gut ausgeschildert.Es gibt schöne Aussichtspunkte mit Sitzgelegenheiten zum rasten... viel Wasser Wald und Feld machen den Weg kurzweilig... ich kann mir gut vorstellen die Tour im Frühjahr wieder zu laufen wenn alles anfängt zu blühen...👍

    Diese Etappe ist ein einfacher Auftakt in den Lieserpfad. "Pfad" sollte man auch nicht zu wörtlich nehmen. Allerdings war ich überrascht über die vielen naturnahen Wiesenwege und überhaupt die naturnahe Streckenführung. Es gibt nicht viele prägnante Highlights, aber diese Etappe ist schön angelegt und sehr gepflegt. Es gibt fast keine Höhenmeter bis Daun, so dass die Strecke für einen geübten Wanderer durchaus als Halbtagestour durchgehen kann. Oder man hängt noch etwas dran.
