Kotzen is located in the Havelland district and is surrounded by numerous lakes. The idyllic landscapes make it a perfect place for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Those interested in culture will also get their money's worth: Ribbeck Castle with its famous pear tree is located nearby.

Most relevant for tourism are Kotzen Castle from the 18th century and St. Nikolai Church from the 15th century with its impressive tower. Another highlight is the Westhavelland Nature Park, a paradise for birdwatchers.

Culinary Kotzen also has a lot to offer: Be sure to try the regional asparagus or enjoy a regional beer tasting at a brewery.

The best seasons for outdoor activities are spring and summer, when temperatures are pleasantly warm and you can go hiking or cycling along the Havel Cycle Path or through the Westhavelland Nature Park . In winter you can also go ice skating on frozen lakes or cross-country skiing.

But what to do in bad weather? Don't worry! The village museum offers interesting insights into life in the region and the surroundings are beautiful even in rainy weather.

Kotzen, Havelland is definitely worth a visit. The combination of nature, culture and culinary delights makes it a unique destination in Germany. Visit us soon!
