    Really enjoyed this hike. Sufficiently challenging with steep and sometimes long climbs and the Wutachschlucht, combined with beautiful views. Apart from the last leg when we walked along the lake into Konstanz the trail was very quiet. We had independently arranged accommodation. All were of excellent quality and good value. We had also organised taxis to transport our suitcases between hotels as there was no agency offering to do this. In spite of asking the Verein and various tourist boards I was given no real help or advice. I would recommend all of the companies we used - Taxi Feiburg 555555, Frank Witte, Taxi Striskovic, Dein Taxi and Taxi Vogler. It is not a cheap way of doing things but all of our bags were delivered on time without any problems. If doing this hike take plenty of water and lunch as there are not a lot of places along the way to fill up or buy food. The only disappointment we had was that there did not appear to be any plaque at the end of the hike in Konstanz to mark the end of the walk. We went to Tourist Information and they had no idea where the official end was. Regardless would really recommend the Querweg!

    Wir sind den Weg am 26.04.2026 gewandert. Wirklich schöner Weg, allerdings keinerlei Beschilderung, ohne Navy keine Chance. Bei nassem Boden oder sogar Regenwetter kann der Weg aber problematisch werden, selbst der Hinweg zur Marienschlucht am See entlang. Auf dem Rückweg liegen teilweise dicke Bäume über den Weg, nicht unbedingt etwas fü kleine Leute mit kurzen Beinen. Der Weg führt tatsächlich über den Golfplatz, allerdings war von einer Sperrung nichts zu sehen, kein Problem. Der GPX-Track im Bereich der Butzewegs-Höhle und des Katharinen-Wasserfalls ist etwas irreführend. Der Weg in Richtung Höhle und Wasserfall ist gesperrt, Zugang vieleicht möglich, aber wir habe es nicht probiert. An der Sperrung führt die Umleitung steil den Berg hinauf, oben angekommen auf einem Fahrweg nach links und sofort wieder nach links in den Wald hinein. Grundsätzlich ist zu sagen, die neue Stahlkonstruktion durch die Marienschlucht ist schon beeindruckend, den Flair der "alten" Marienschlucht gibt es allerdings nicht mehr. Und bei den hohen Baukosten hat es für eine Beschilderung offensichtlich nicht mehr gereicht. Vom Parkplatz bei Wallhausen keinerlei Beschilderung "Marienschlucht". Das einzige Hinweisschild steht am Parkplatz beim Golfplatz, da wo es eh offensichtlich ist.

    Die Wanderung ist gut zu laufen. Die "Hochwasserstelle" ist durch einen Holzsteg entschärft. Man dürfte nun meist trocken queren können. An der Mainau und am Horn ist immer viel los, sonst eher ruhige Wanderung.

    Sehr schöne Wanderung zwischen den beiden Seen. Abwechslungsreiche Strecke mit gut zu gehenden Wegen. Wir sind die Tour bei Wechselhaftem Wetter gelaufen. Auf der ersten Hälfte bei Regen und ab der Insel Mainau mit Sonne 🌞. Die Rückfahrt mit der Bahn 🚆 von Konstanz nach Allensbach, hat auch super funktioniert, Top. Nur die Parkgebühr am Bahnhof sind schon happig, gezahlt 10€ für die 6-7 Stunden.

    1.Tag von Radolfzell nach Überlingen 2.Tag von Überlingen nach Arbon 3. Tag von Arbon nach Koblenz (Besuch in der Therme) 4. Tag von Konstanz über Stein am Rhein nach Radolfzell / Der Radweg ist immer eindeutig ausgeschildert. Sollte es mal wegen einer kleinen Baustelle eine Sperrung geben, so ist eine Umleitung für Radfahrer eingerichtet. Die Strecke ist zu 95 Prozent asphaltiert. Ich bin die Tour Ende März bei wechselhaftem Wetter gefahren. Es gab viele Möglichkeiten, um eine Unterkunft spontan zu buchen. Dies wird in der Hauptsaison vermutlich nicht möglich sein, weshalb man im Sommer genau planen sollte, wo man übernachtet. Die Schweiz gehört nicht zur EU, weshalb bei den meisten Handytarifen die Flatrate für Telefonate und Internet nicht gilt. Also vorsicht bei der Handynutzung, hier können hohe Kosten entstehen!

    Tolle abwechslungsreichen Runde und immer wieder Möglichkeiten zur Einkehr.Die Tour sollte man am besten mit Trekking oder MTB fahren da vieles Waldwege und feiner Schotter sind.Der Radweg zwischen Waldsiedlung und Allensbach wurde rechts neben die Bahngleise verlegt und führt nicht mehr neben der Landstraße entlang. Einkehr im Pub Irish Exit in Radolfzell.
