For nature lovers, Kluis offers a variety of activities such as hiking, cycling or fishing. Spring is ideal for walking on the many hiking trails around Kluis. In summer you can relax on the beach or try water sports like sailing or surfing. In autumn, it is worth picking mushrooms or watching cranes as they make their annual migration. In winter you can go cross-country skiing or try ice fishing on the frozen lake.
Even if the weather doesn't cooperate, Kluis has a lot to offer! Ulrichshusen Castle is located here - an impressive place with a long history - which today serves as a hotel . For art lovers, there are numerous galleries along the village that showcase local artists.
