Geographically, Kettig lies between the Rhine and Moselle rivers and is surrounded by picturesque vineyards. The town itself has a long history dating back to the Middle Ages. Today, there are many tourist attractions to discover here.

One of Kettig's best-known attractions is Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg Castle, an impressive 17th-century building with magnificent gardens and a collection of exotic animals. St. Sebastian's Church from the 13th century and the historic town hall are also worth seeing.

Cultural highlights can also be found in abundance: the annual castle festival at Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg Castle attracts visitors from all over the world; concerts, theatre performances or exhibitions are also held regularly.

Those looking for culinary specialities will find them in Kettig's restaurants: Here you can enjoy regional specialities such as spit-roast or Saumagen - accompanied, of course, by a glass of the famous Moselle wine!

Outdoor activities are not neglected either: in the summer months, the surrounding vineyards invite you to go hiking or cycling; in winter, you can go skiing or snowboarding nearby. If it rains, you can visit the nearby swimming pool.

Where is the most beautiful place in Kettig? That depends entirely on individual preferences - whether it's a stroll through the historic old town or a picnic in the vineyards: there are many places in Kettig that invite you to linger and relax.

Overall, Kettig is a perfect destination for anyone who loves history and nature and would like to be pampered with culinary delights. With this travel guide you are well prepared for your next holiday!

Sehr, sehr empfehlenswert!!!
