Maps and trails
Geographically, Kerben is located on the western edge of the Hunsrück and is surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The region is known for its rolling hills, lush forests and clear rivers - a paradise for nature lovers.

Tourist attractions include Pyrmont Castle and the Maria Engelport monastery. Both places offer insights into the history of the region and impress with their architecture.

Cultural highlights include a variety of music and art festivals such as the Moselle Music Festival or the Koblenz Summer Festival. Another cultural attraction is the Rhine Museum Koblenz, which presents interesting exhibits on the history of the Rhine.

For culinary specialities, be sure to try the local wine - especially Riesling from the Moselle region is on offer here. Regional specialities such as Saumagen (a kind of Palatinate liver dumpling) or Dampfnudeln are also worth a try.

The best outdoor activities can vary depending on the season: In spring, we recommend hiking through the blossoming orchards; in summer, you can enjoy canoeing on the Moselle River; in autumn, the forest with its colourful leaves beckons you to go hiking; meanwhile, skiing is great in winter.

Even if the weather is bad, there are plenty of activities to do in Kerben and the surrounding area, such as visiting museums or indoor sports activities. In Koblenz you will find the Deutsches Eck, where you can visit the Ehrenbreitstein fortress or take a ride on the cable car - an experience for young and old.

Where is the most beautiful? Our tip: Take a walk through the Bürresheim Castle Park - here you will not only enjoy the peace and nature, but also the view of the beautiful Bürresheim Castle.

Summarising: Kerben is definitely worth a trip! Whether cultural highlights, culinary delights or outdoor activities - this city has something to offer for everyone. We hope that our travel guide will help you make your next trip to Kerben unforgettable.
