Karwitz

Karwitz is idyllically situated on the edge of the Lower Saxony Elbe Floodplain Biosphere Reserve. The region is characterised by its unique landscape: rolling hills alternate with forests and numerous river courses meander through the area. One of the most famous sights is the Karwitz Manor House - an impressive 19th century manor house with an eventful history. Today it houses a hotel as well as a restaurant with regional cuisine.
