    Landschaftlich sehr schöne Wanderung an der Ilz. Ich persönlich habe mir wegen der An- und Abreise mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln die Goldsteigetappen S 21 und S 22 sowie einen Teil von S 20 so eingeteilt: Passau bis Fischhaus und dann auf dem Goldsteigzubringer nach Ruderting. Dort fahren regelmäßig Busse nach Passau zum Bahnhof. Dann die nächste Etappe mit dem Bus von Passau nach Trautmannsdorf (hier fährt wochentags vormittags ein Bus) und von dort runter zur Ilz und südwärts an der Ilz entlang bis Fischhaus und weiter nach Ruderting (Bus nach Passau zum Bahnhof).

    Ein wunderschöner naturbelassener Wanderweg. Wir sind mit der Ilztalbahn bis Kalteneck gefahren und haben von dort aus unsere kleine Wanderung bis Fürsteneck durchgeführt. Der Weg führt größtenteils direkt am Wasser entlang und kann mit mittlerer Kondition gut absolviert werden. Wer hier Natur pur sucht und gleichzeitig einen ruhigen Wanderweg ist genau richtig

    Schöne Tour. Fast ausschließlich schmale naturnahe Wanderwege, kaum Asphalt- oder Schotterstrassen. Sehr ruhig. Kaum Wanderer getroffen, keine Radfahrer. Hinweis: Zur Zeit ist das Stauseestüberl in Oberilzmühle nicht bewirtschaftet - "vorübergehend geschlossen" (6.8.2016). In Fischbach sind wir in den Ilzstuben gut und freundlich bewirtet worden.
