The geographical location of Herrischried is ideal for nature lovers. The town lies at the foot of the Feldberg and is surrounded by dense forests. Here you can hike, cycle or simply enjoy the fresh air. In winter, the region turns into a skiing area with perfect conditions for cross-country or downhill skiing.

In addition to outdoor activities, there are also many sights to discover. Visit Tiengen Castle or take a walk through the historic alleys of Waldshut's old town. For art lovers, we recommend the Museum Haus Dix in Hemmenhofen or the Kunstmuseum Basel, which is only a short drive away.

Culturally, Herrischried also has a lot to offer - especially during the summer months, numerous festivals take place here, such as the Jazz Festival in Lörrach or the Donaueschinger Musiktage Festival.

If it rains, there is always something to do: visit one of the many museums, such as the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof Wiesbaden e.V., go shopping in the Rhein-Main-Center Frankfurt/Main Taunusstein ,or relax with a wellness day in the Therme Badenweiler.

The culinary offers are also a highlight - try the traditional Black Forest cake or enjoy a hearty meal in the Gasthaus zum Kreuz. For wine lovers, we recommend a trip to nearby Alsace, where you can find some of the best wines in Europe.

All in all, Herrischried Waldshut is definitely worth a visit and offers something for everyone: from outdoor activities to cultural highlights and culinary delights. Come and discover this picturesque region for yourself!
