Discover the region

Geographically, Heigenbrücken is located between the Spessart and the Odenwald, surrounded by green forests and rolling hills. The region is known for its picturesque landscape and the numerous hiking trails that lead through it.

Tourist attractions include Mespelbrunn Castle, a magnificent 16th century Renaissance castle with impressive architecture. Another highlight is the climbing park at the foot of the castle, where adventurous people can prove their courage.

Cultural highlights are the museum "Heimatstube", which gives an insight into the history of the region, as well as various concerts as part of the annual music festival "Spessart Festival".

For culinary connoisseurs, Heigenbrücken has a variety of restaurants to offer - from traditional German cuisine to international dishes, you will find everything your palate desires.

The best seasons for outdoor activities are spring and summer: hiking or cycling on the many well-marked trails through the forest or along the Sinn River are just a few examples. In winter, cross-country skiing or ice skating on the frozen lake will be possible when conditions are good.

When it rains there are also many activities to choose from such as a visit to the indoor swimming pool or the cinema.

But the best experience in Heigenbrücken is the peace and relaxation you will find here. Whether you are travelling alone or with the family - this town is definitely worth a visit!
