Tourist attractions: In Haßleben you should definitely visit the castle. It was built in the 18th century and impresses with its baroque architecture as well as the beautiful park around the building. The local history museum is also worth a visit: here you can learn all about the history of the region.

Sömmerda also has some interesting sights to offer, such as the town church or the historic town hall from the 16th century. Another highlight is the zoo: here you can experience native animals up close.
