Geographically, Hagnau is located at the north-eastern end of Lake Constance, just a few kilometres from the Swiss border. The town covers an area of around 5 square kilometres and is home to around 2,500 inhabitants.

One of the main attractions in Hagnau is undoubtedly the beautiful Lake Constance itself. Here you can swim, sail or simply enjoy the view. If you want to learn more about the history and culture of this region, you should visit the Lake Dwelling Museum - a fascinating open-air museum with reconstructed prehistoric houses from the Neolithic period.

Another highlight is Salem Castle, an impressive Baroque palace from the 18th century with magnificent gardens and an extensive art collection.

For culinary delights, we definitely recommend trying the local wine - Müller-Thurgau wines and Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir are particularly popular here. Fish lovers will also get their money's worth: try smoked trout or zander fillets fresh from the lake, for example!

When it rains there are also plenty of activities to do such as a visit to Sea Life Konstanz, an aquarium with a variety of sea creatures, or a trip to the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen.

The best outdoor activities can be enjoyed during spring and summer. These include cycling, hiking and water sports such as kayaking or stand-up paddling. In winter, there are also some ski resorts nearby for winter sports fans.

Where is the most beautiful? We recommend a walk along the lakeside promenade at sunset - an unforgettable experience!

All in all, Hagnau on Lake Constance is definitely worth a visit! Don't miss the opportunity to visit this charming little town and discover all its beauties. Our travel guide provides you with everything you need to plan your adventure in the best possible way!

Warum eigentlich immer eBike-Tour?
