Geographical location: Häusern is located in the middle of the Black Forest and is an ideal starting point for hiking and outdoor activities. The town is only a few kilometres from the Swiss border and therefore also offers a perfect opportunity for a day trip to the neighbouring country.

Tourist attractions: The historic old town of Waldshut with its narrow streets and picturesque half-timbered houses invites you to stroll around. Another highlight is Tiengen Castle, which sits enthroned on a hill above the Rhine. Here you can not only admire the impressive architecture, but also enjoy the view over the landscape.

Cultural highlights and events: Häusern regularly hosts cultural events - from the traditional wine festival to concerts by regional artists. The Museum Haus Dix in Hemmenhofen, which houses works by the expressionist painter Otto Dix, is also particularly worth seeing.

Culinary specialities: The regional cuisine has a lot to offer: Be sure to try the famous Black Forest ham or the delicious Maultaschen. There's no shortage of sweet treats either - why not try a slice of Black Forest cake!

Outdoor activities: The region around Häusern is a paradise for hikers and nature lovers. In summer you can explore the beautiful landscape of the Black Forest on numerous trails, while in winter skiers and snowboarders will get their money's worth in the nearby ski resorts.

Best seasons: In spring, the Black Forest comes to life - nature begins to bloom and the temperature is pleasant for hiking. Autumn, on the other hand, is particularly charming with the colourful foliage of the trees. In the winter months, the region transforms into a snowy wonderland - perfect for all ski enthusiasts!

Rainy days: Even in bad weather, there is plenty to discover in Häusern: Visit the Zurzach thermal baths, for example, or take a trip to neighbouring Basel with its numerous museums and galleries.

Where is the most beautiful? A special highlight are certainly the many vantage points around Häusern, from which you can enjoy breathtaking panoramas. The Hohenkarpfen lookout tower and the Belchenblick are particularly recommended.

Summary: Häusern, Waldshut is definitely worth a visit! The idyllic location in the Black Forest not only offers countless opportunities for rest and relaxation, but also many cultural highlights and culinary delights. Whether in summer or winter - this destination has something to offer in every season.
